This will be a fun and engaging 2-part workshop!
Join us on August 23rd at 2 pm for a Pottery hand-building session where you'll learn and apply techniques like slab rolling, adding texture, slip and scoring, and using a mold to create your very own unique vase. No experience is necessary, DaniJo Hawkins Pottery will bring all the tools and will give you step by step instructions. After completing your piece, you will choose a glaze color for it, which I will take back to my studio to be carefully fired and finished.
Then, on September 26th at 2 pm, we will gather again at Stiles Pumpkin Farm & Back Road Blossoms for the second part of the workshop, where you will have the opportunity to join one of their popular classes and arrange beautiful flowers in your finished vase, bringing your creation to life in a stunning and personal way.
