I will be either bringing your plates from the March 22nd workshop for you to glaze or you will have the choice to buy a bisque fired piece of mine.
Prices will vary depending on what you choose. I will have mugs, plates and bowls to choose from.

In this workshop we will be creating a set of square pottery plates.

Using skills such as slab rolling, using a mold and adding texture you will create a set of plates that are uniquely yours.

At the end of the work shop you will be able to pick from one of three glaze colors to finish off your pieces.
Or you will be able to sign up for the April 19th class where you can try your hand at bubble glazing!

This will be a fun and engaging 2-part workshop!

Join us on July 27th at 2 pm for a Pottery hand-building session where you'll learn and apply techniques like slab rolling, adding texture, slip and scoring, and using a mold to create your very own unique vase. No experience is necessary, DaniJo Hawkins Pottery will bring all the tools and will give you step by step instructions. After completing your piece, you will choose a glaze color for it, which I will take back to my studio to be carefully fired and finished.

Then, on August 23rd at 2 pm, we will gather again at Stiles Pumpkin Farm & Back Road Blossoms for the second part of the workshop, where you will have the opportunity to arrange beautiful flowers in your finished vase, bringing your creation to life in a stunning and personal way.

Join me in creating Toad homes out of clay.

In this workshop we will be using techniques such as slab rolling, slipping and scoring and adding texture. You can also add embellishments to make it your own unique toad abode.

Once you are finished I will bring them home glaze and kiln fire them so they are strong enough to hold up to our Michigan weather.

You can pick one of these 3 colors of glazes..Blue, Green or White

In this workshop with DaniJo Hawkins Pottery, we will be creating one standup pottery spoon rest that you can add any design, texture, theme you would like to.

Using pottery techniques such as slab rolling, using a template, slip and scoring, creating designs and using texture we will build a a piece of pottery that you can have for many years to come.

Once your spoon rest is finished, I will bring it to my studio where it will dry, be bisque fired and then glazed in a color of your choice. During the class, I will bring examples of glazes you can pick from.

Valentine Heart Candy Pottery Bowl
Come join us for a fun and creative pottery workshop this fall! Learn how to handcraft your very own pottery bowl in this hands-on session. No experience necessary - I will guide you every step of the way. The workshop will be held at Durand Union Station Inc, perfect for unleashing your inner artist. Don't miss out on this opportunity to create a unique piece of pottery to show off at your next gathering!

Using techniques such as slab rolling, using a slump mold and making a beautiful texture texture and other embellishments you will create your very own bowl perfect to hold your candies, trinkets and other valuables

I will be bringing many different types of textures and embellishments. And also I will be showing you my secret to perfect lettering.

Bring your creativity and I will bring the rest.

You will pick from one of 3 glaze colors.

When the bowl has dried, glazed and fired I will call you for pick up! (usually 2 weeks)

Join us for a quick drop-in workshop making pottery Christmas (or winter) ornaments!

Create a Santa or Angel out of clay!

In this workshop you will be using pottery techniques such as hand building, slipping and scoring, adding texture and creating a Santa or Angel with it's very own unique look and personality!

These are stand alone Pottery Pieces that can be used as decoration.

Once your they is finished I will bring it home, glaze it and fire it. It will take approximately 2 weeks and will be ready just in time for Christmas!

In this workshop we will be creating a fun Pottery Gnome!

In this workshop we will be using techniques such as slab rolling, slipping and scoring and adding texture. You are encouraged to add embellishments to make it your own unique Gnome

There will be 4 glaze colors to choose from. Brown, Blue, White and Turquoise.

Once you are finished I will bring them home glaze them and fire them so they are strong enough to hold up to our Michigan weather if you would like to put it in your garden.

The workshop is $40

This covers clay, glaze, firing and packaging. I will be bringing all supplies needed and to those that have take my workshops before... I HAVE SO MANY NEW TEXTURES!!!

In this workshop with DaniJo Hawkins Pottery, we will be creating one hand built Pottery Mug that you can add any design to.

Using pottery techniques such as slab rolling, slip and scoring, creating designs and using texture we will create a mug with your own unique style

Once your pottery mug is finished, I will bring it to my studio, let it dry, glaze and fire it.
