Standup Pottery Spoonrest
In this workshop with DaniJo Hawkins Pottery, we will be creating one stand-up pottery spoon rest that you can add any design, texture, theme you would like to.
Using pottery techniques such as slab rolling, using a template, slip and scoring, creating designs and using texture we will build a a piece of pottery that you can have for many years to come.
Once your spoon rest is finished, I will bring it to my studio where it will dry, be bisque fired and then glazed in a color of your choice. During the class, I will bring examples of glazes you can pick from.
